In most organizations, the remote desktop feature is enabled by default. Enabling the Remote Desktop via group policy on all computers seems to be the best solution. The need for enabling the Remote Desktop comes when you have a remote site, and you have to support remote users. Typically, the IT teams relies on Remote Desktop access to connect to the devices such as Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 and manage tasks. Windows 11 Remote Desktop feature is majorly used by IT for remote administration. Remote desktop is an operating system feature that allows a user to connect to a computer in another location, see that computer’s desktop and interact with it as if it were local. On Active Directory domain joined computers, you can enable Remote Desktop using GPO. With Windows 10 folders, Nimi Places and ToolBox, you can now efficiently group your desktop icons and organize shortcuts. Select that to open a small menu where you can configure a system folder, a drive and a megapack shortcut box. The control panel on the toolbar includes a Magicians Menu at the top. In addition, you can also configure boxes that include shortcuts to the system tray. Click Configurations > Save all toolbox settings to quickly save all shortcuts, effects, and desktop positions of icon boxes. You can delete a box by right-clicking its title there and selecting Delete toolbox. the Toolboxes The tab lists the desktop icon boxes. You can include the title at the top of the box by clicking on the Visible title bar check box (or hide the title by unchecking it). Or you can add a wallpaper to the box by selecting Bitmap from the dropdown menu and pressing the … button next to the Background Bitmap Path box. That will open a color palette from which you can choose other colors. You can modify the colors of the boxes by clicking on the box next to Colour. Just right click on the desktop, click Sort by -> Type of article. In this way, you can easily select them as a group and drag them to your "Movies" folder. This will bring all files of the same type together, so if you have a "Movies" folder, for example, sorting by type will put all video files in one place. A useful technique is to use the built-in sorting functions of Windows 10 to sort your files by type. If you have a lot of files on your desktop, organizing them can be difficult, especially if they start to overlap. Then you could move the icons to the folders like in the snapshot below. You can add any number of folders to the desktop for alternative shortcut categories, such as applications, utilities, multimedia software, etc. This will save the files in your folder instead of having them scattered on your screen. You can now drag and drop the appropriate desktop shortcuts into your new folder. Remember you're trying to make your desktop more organized, and the least you want is to see your folders called New Folder, New Folder (2), New Folder (3), and so on. But in case you forget, you can always rename it by right-clicking on the folder and selecting Rename. It is a good idea to name the folder when it becomes more organized.
